Meet the curriculum creators
Denise Clivaz and Elizabeth Roberts teach K-8 French at The Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove, Illinois. Together they share over 40 years of world language teaching experience. Denise and Elizabeth have presented their curriculum at numerous regional and national conferences, including ACTFL.

Elizabeth Roberts
Founder
Elizabeth Roberts is a dedicated French educator with two decades of experience at the Avery Coonley School, where she teaches students from kindergarten through eighth grade. She holds a Master's in French Language and Civilization from NYU in Paris, bringing rich cultural insights into her classroom.
Denise Clivaz
Founder
Denise Clivaz is a seasoned French educator with over 30 years of experience teaching K-8 students in the Chicago suburbs. With a deep commitment to immersive experiences, she has led over 30 student trips to Quebec and France, bringing language and culture to life.
