Dr. Liam Printer is an experienced language educator and the host of The Motivated Classroom podcast, where he shares insights from his extensive research on motivating language learners. Currently teaching Spanish and English at the International School of Lausanne, Liam combines his passion for language acquisition with practical strategies that engage students. With a Doctorate in Education focused on co-created storytelling, he has presented at international conferences across Europe and beyond, sharing his expertise in fostering intrinsic motivation in language classrooms.

 With Dr. Ghedy Matus - FranU and Saint Michael High School

Dr. Ghedy Matus is a dedicated foreign language advocate with extensive experience teaching at St. Michael High School and FranU. Passionate about creating opportunities for students to engage with diverse cultures and languages, Dr. Matus has presented at various educational conferences, including LFLTA and LERA, focusing on topics like classroom management and the sustainability of foreign language programs.

Kathleen Kampa brings 31 years of teaching young learners in Tokyo, Japan to her work as an educational innovator and author. As a writer of 18 English language coursebooks for Oxford University Press, including the concept-based inquiry series Blue Dot, she expertly bridges language learning with creative engagement. Her passion for connecting music, movement, and language has led her to compose two albums of educational songs, with a third in development. Kathleen's extensive international speaking experience includes plenary presentations at MEXTESOL, TESOL, and JALT, alongside teacher training across Asia in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

A Classroom That Manages Itself

 With Stephanie Fritz - Art Teacher

Stephanie Fritz, originally from New Zealand, has traveled the world with a passion for art and a dream of teaching it. After almost 20 years, she achieved her goal and now enjoys her dream job as a high school art teacher. Stephanie holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of Auckland, a Master's in Education from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Arts, Leadership, and Learning from Plymouth State University. Alongside her teaching career, she is a purple belt in jiu-jitsu and leads a women’s program in the sport. Stephanie has presented at the Plymouth State University Integrated Arts Conference and the New Hampshire Art Educator Association.
